TWO RINGS BIND THEM: Ashley and Lucas!
Sometimes it good to let the pictures speak for themselves. But most of the time I can't find a way to keep myself from typing something the people in the pictures so you'll have to wade through a few more words to get the pictures. I know that's what you're really here for. The wedding was at the church Ashley grew up in and was officiated by this great character of a pastor who sounded so much like Christopher Lloyd. I desperately wanted to hear him say, 'FLUX CAPACITOR,' and record it for the website, but I decided that it would be just weird to ask that.
After the Ceremony they drove to Barton Springs Country Club where amazing flowers and cakes and a table filled with Ashley's family wedding history showed off pictures, Bibles, gloves and other memorabilia awaited the guests. The view was simply amazing loooking out over HIll Country.
Ashley's dad borrowed this 70s Cadillac for them to exit in and they drove around downtown Austin with us in the back seat shooting a couple pictures before they left for their honeymoon in Canada.

TWO RINGS BIND THEM: Ben and Sara!
Ben and Sara had a heck of a story. They met in kindergarton at a school the bride's mom taught at. These two knew each other longer than my wife and I knew each other. There was certainly a connection between these two that I don't see very often in a engaged couple. They chose the Barr Mansion to have their wedding at on a very mild June day. Of course it was humid. When is it not humid?
Right after the ceremony there was a tear of joy coming down Sara's cheek that I am so happy that I caught. It was a beautiful moment.
What's with the penguin? There wasn't any dancing happening at this wedding until the penguin entered through the back door and demanded a dance with the bride and then groom. I liked their shoes from this wedding. I felt like I need a pair of Cons what with even the bride wearing them.

TWO RINGS BIND THEM: Joy and Clyde!
People must think of me as the party photographer because there are no weddings that I shoot where there isn't a fabulous party going on afterwards which I capture with my own personal style which gives off the impression of a drunken ninja, but trully brings back the memories which everyone feels as their are dancing, talking and drinking the occasional soft drink laden with rum. Joy and Clyde surprised the heck out of me because they were the most responsible people I think I had ever met. They and their entire family and attendant were at the rehearsal before me which I can honestly say has never happened in my many years of shooting weddings.
After the ceremony they drove off in the grooms shiny silver car. This is some sort of an import right?
They knew how to relax after their ceremony and had a great time with their friends and family!

TWO RINGS BIND THEM: Kim and James!
These two were bundle of fun energy! The grooms mother saw me shooting pictures and told me that she thought the groom and I could be brothers. I knew we were starting out on the right foot shooting that day.
This was at Kindred Oaks up near Georgetown on a very hot June Sunday. This was the beginning of my busy summerof weddings from Dallas to Houston and a bunch of places I'd never heard of. This one hapened to be only a few miles from my home and the bride and groom were great.

Engage! Tracia and Chris
I got a good feeling from these two as soon as I met them. I never figured they be up for such a crazy adventure on a muggy day in June. The pictures speak for themselves.
I think this one has become my favorite engagement image of all time. It looks like a movie poster to me.
They were dramatic and romantic and oozed intensity! I was amazed because here was another example of a couple who claimed they were unphotogenic.

Engage! Lawrence and Judy.....
So many people hire me and the first thing they say to me is, 'I'm not photogenic.'
When Coral shot Christina and I last year I think we really proved that those who are unphotogenic really aren't that at all except in their minds. I think these two were so photogenic and had great clothes and a sense of style.
Why they would think themselves unphotogenic is beyond me. Maybe they just hadn't found the right photographer.....
